Sizing new brass

Just looking for opinions. I have always neck sized new unpprimed metallic cartridge brass before first loading. My rational being that the odd case will have a deformed neck from shipping, handling, etc. Wondering how other loaders feel regarding this?
 
I almost always do "New Brass" in these steps...

1)Full length size
2)Trim to length, chamfer inside and out
3)After firing I neck size target rounds but Full length resize ALL my Hunting ammo.

" New brass" I load plinker loads, fire form, clean, uniform the primer pockets & deburr them inside, then case length & neck size with a Lee collet die & chamfer inside & out. I believe firm formed brass is better than Full Length resize & the brass lasts longer.
 
Sizing new brass that most people think will fit the chamber anyway will not work the brass much, if any, more than neck sizing and will not shorten the life of the brass.

What it will do, besides command a bit of your time, will be to prevent you from taking a round apart should it be a bit out of spec and not fit your chamber.

All this opinion for the low, low price of

New Brass

Brand new brass is almost always undersized so it will fit any size chamber. Most of the time you can full length size without touching any part of the case except the case mouth which is generally out of round and uneven. Best thing to do is just chamfer the inside of the case neck after the resize and load a moderate load to fireform. Then trim to length and even up the case mouth and redo inside chamfer thing. Decide if you want to neck size only or whatever after the initial firing. Brass has expanded as much as it will for several firings.
