Looking for SK Long Range Match or Rifle Match, preferably Calgary area. Can't seem to find anything online that isn't out of Ontario, and even then most places seem out of stock at the moment. Any tips on where to find a couple of bricks of this stuff? Thanks!

P&D usually carry it in Edmonton. I think Brian had some at ProLine in Calgary, but haven't visited him for a while. - dan

If you find yourself driving South, I know for sure that Alberta Firearms in Fort McLeod sells SK ammo

Finding Sk long range and rifle right now is almost impossible. I saw some come in this summer but it got snatched up pretty quick. If you find some buy as much as you can afford.

Thanks for all the suggestions - unfortunately still can't find any out West, so I guess shipping from Ontario it is. But, learned of some new-to-me shops, so appreciate it!

I usually buy my SK from Prophet River, but it is pretty scarce now. I still have a dozen or so bricks of Standard Plus, and 3-4 bricks of Long Range, so I will be okay for a while.

CT in Chilliwack and Langley have started stalking Match grade ammunition.
Since I am in BC, TSP does not have a licence to collect PST so the savings pays the shipping.
Unfortunately that is not a savings o AB residents.

I suspect the fact that Europe is keeping an eye on the Russians and stocking their militaries first might have something to do with it.
Canada could learn from them.

i suspect you’re right. i’m sure it’s a factor. however, eley is around and it’s made in germany if i’m not mistaken… ohwell guess we keep waiting!

There's only one thing that's unusual about an alleged "shortage" of SK (and Lapua) .22LR ammo, and it has nothing to do with the Russians. SK/Lapua has said the war in Ukraine doesn't affect .22LR ammo production.

It has more to do with Americans and the extraordinary popularity and growth of .22LR PRS-style shooting. The demand for .22LR match-type ammos has grown tremendously. Unfortunately production output hasn't been able to keep up with demand. Even in Canada the enthusiasm for .22LR PRS has increased enormously and it's no longer possible to count on suppliers being able to maintain stocks of ammos like SK from one shipment to the next.

Hadn't considered this, good points.
