velocity seems low for long range. nice test, but only 50m.

They are subsonic to avoid the bullet passing through the transonic zone. 22lr destabalize when they go transonic greatly reducing accuracy. All the 22lr competitive shooters I know only shoot subsonic ammo and have massively better results using subsonic ammunition.

This is true. High velocity .22LR ammo slows down enough over 100 yards that it goes sub-sonic on its way and undergoes transonic turbulence which is inimical to accuracy .

thanks for the good explanation, subsonic .22 has been done before. so this is for 100m (LR)?

Very interested. Very very interested to find out if my 1913 will like SK long range. Now if someone would bring this ammo into our fine country we could get right down to business. RWS R50 or SK long range ???
