looking at buying a skb 600 skeet that is in VG shape 26" bbls choked skt/skt with a nickel receiver what do you think it would be worth

In mint condition and with the more ornately engraved silver receiver, I would pay up to $800 in 12 ga. $1,000 in 20 ga.
Some may make comment of the short barrels but besides being fine for skeet as intended, it Makes for a great Ruffed grouse gun.

I owned one back in the late 60's. ( As well as a couple of 500's and a 200 SxS ) Good sturdy gun, equivalent to the Win 101 or Citori IMHO. SKB ( Sakabara ) along with Olin- Kodensha and BC Miroku were the most well known and popular Japanese manufacturers.

No issues with it whatsoever. $ 750 - $1,000 depending on condition.
