Skeet Gun whats good for the first shot gun?

Did you shoot an actual round of "Skeet" with targets thrown from a high and low house or clay targets thrown by hand or portable thrower ?
If you shot a round of "Skeet", any shotgun with fixed open choked barrel(s) cyl, skt, ic, or has choke tubes in the restrictions mentioned will suffice to start.

Not a full round, And it was from a machine. Right now I'm using my mossberg 590a1, guess it really does not matter as long as I'm having fun. People make shooting clays look so easy too, not very easy to say the least.

For my first year I shot skeet with a 28" 870. Then I got a semi-auto Beretta.
My best with an 870 was 24, so it's not impossible with a pump. Just gotta make sure you don't short shuck it.

An O/U is the best choice ... you need to establish a budget first. Your Mossberg will be fine for the time being. Try every shotgun you can lay your hands on. Don't be in a big rush.
