skeletonized stock for a cooey

I admit I like messing around with old stuff-mainly refinishing the stocks,especially if they are walnut .I've got an old cooey, plain wood-wondered about replacing most of the wood with a metal skeletonized stock and just left a small wood piece under the barrel to hold on to -somebody had done one something like that and posted pictures here a while ago,looked kind of neat for a truck gun.Seems to me a peepsite and front tru-glo site would be a nice utility gun,light and easy to carry
