Skinner sights on Henry H001

Guys with skinners on their h001, did you have to replace or modify your front sight? If so how the heck did you do this, considering the barrel band/front sight combo?

Tried just the rear skinner sight . The front sight is to low I ended up jb welding a small chunk on drill bit on the top of the front site and painted it white. Can't rember what size drill bit it was from.

I replaced the front site with a Williams firesite, brought it up nicely.
