sks 100yard target pic

Well I took my Russian silver bolt to the range today. Set this target up at 100 yards, and shot it. This is iron sight shooting and no hesitation between shots. I had the rifle on a home made "Rest" then poped off 5 rounds in a row.Its the best I can do....I cant really see the target at that distance It just looks like a white small square LOL. This SURPLUS AMMO seems to have alot of FLYERS.
The second pic is with my 357 ruger six shooter. They apear low. I was aiming at the middle.....doesnt matter

Nice shooting...4 of 5 seem to be under 2" very impressive. mine shot about 8" but its chinese, and Im suposed to be a good shot?.

Im impressed, i just sold one of my shotguns, and got the O.K. from the wife to buy something else, so im thinking i might pick up an sks, im afraid i wont be able to stop once buying the first though!

Haha you'll get the SKS fever and befor you know it you'll have a few.

When I wanted to get one, I went into a store, saw one and it looked beautiful... No refurb marks, no forced matching components... So I decided what the hell I'll buy it, keep it as a safe queen and buy another as a shooter. So I asked to see another one, which was beautiful again, so I though two safe queens wouldn't be a bad thing... Long story short, I walked out of the store after having bought 3 of them!

That could be excessive to some, but there's something cool about buying 60 year old military rifles that look like they were just made yesterday!

Accuracy is far better than it should be given the price tag.

Surplus ammo ain't exactly the highest quality ammo out there. Use some decent stuff and you should be able to reduce that group - that is, if you feel the need to!!!
