SKS 5 round mag ?

While a lot of fellows are looking for tactical looking mags I'm looking for something more compact than the original 10 round/pined mag.

I have seen one on a gun owned by a local member but he has had it for many years and can't remember where he got it.

Anyone know where I might find one?

I have seen them around but not sure where from. May have been part of a hunter package from norinco.

I have a 5 round and a 5/10 round mag. TBH the 5/10 isn't that much slimmer
EDIT: You're welcome to my 5 round mag, but it fits in so tight I managed to loosen the follower so it doesn't feed well on the last round. Advise from this forum says a new pin would fix it....YMMV

Found your thread, (not sure how I missed it in the first place). I would prefer to purchase a factory made 5 rounder but if I can't find one I'll look on the EE for a 10 rounder to modify. (don't want to bugger with the one I have) Thanks.

SKS MAN in the USA has them but I do not know if they can be shipped to Canada tho.

Promag makes exactly what your looking for, nice small 5 rounder. When SHTF its easy to swap to a 40 lol,

Paul, aka "SKSMAN" had a stroke two years ago. He never was good with technology. If you call him and speak slowly he is very reliable.
