Hi guys, purchased my sks with it already converted to detachable mags. the guy i bought it from has 2 more mags for me...(he thinks) but at the moment i only have one 5 rounder. works flawlessly but i want more. i'm not willing to pay 90 bucks for the 20 rounders that i can only put 5 in anyways. everywhere i look on teh net the 5 rounders are either sold out or teh company doesn;t ship to canada. sooo does anyone have any mags they'll sell me or does anyone have any leads on where to get a simple 5 rounder?
 
are you using duckbill mags or is it an SKS-D? either way sksman dot com has several models for each on his website, dont know if you tried him yet or not
 
yea tried him he is out of stock on 5 rounders just like everyone else. I ordered from parts4sks.com we'll see how they are when they get here.
 
I just want to make sure that everyone knows the rules on shipping cross border. First of all never lie about the value. Amps penalty will be around 1000 dollars plus you will loose you product. All firearms related products have to be under 100 dollars including shipping cost. Also US company have to get export license for each shipment.
Be careful you can get burnt really badly with this cross border shipping, even a criminal record if you are really don't what you doing.
 
it came in under 100 i think all is well. i'll lt ya know when i get them. i'm sorry guys but most mags i find in canada are 90 bucks and i'm not willing to pay for that. i got 5 for the same price as one. now that i'm ok with!
 
hey can you post how the 5 rounders turned out!? i just bought a crate of russian sks's and i was to get rid of the stripper clip on one of them for a tapco stock! be nice to get some actual tapco 20 rounders *wink* *wink*
