Any difference between the Chinese and Russian sks's when it comes to accuracy? I would assume the Russian would be a little bit better. Am i correct in assuming that? Also are 1950 Tula's chrome lined in the barrel? Any help or comments would be appreciated.

GilesG is absolutley right when he says "Build quality is the sole way to determine any potential accuracy." Then contact TeaPot2 to get a proper scope and mount system and use the search function on this site to do a trigger job. Then go blasting!

SKS was invented and built by Russians originally. With Chinese SKS be careful as some are not the best quality. Some people buy both and compare them. Some stay with Chinese and some only stay with Russian. What are you after?
I've owned a Chinese SKS for over 15 years and always found it to be quite accurate. However, my experience has been that the quality of Chinese guns is very uneven.
The Chinese SKS's are made with the Tula arsenal equipment, which was moved from the USSR to China many years ago.
