thought id share a photo of what i did to my SKS the other day.
i cut up the Tasco stock and made some parts for it out of oak to mimic an AK... just for fun since i had the wood and the time. now i just need a big long mag to look complete.

Nice job, now you need an Albanian bolt carrier with the AK style charging handle.

it took a bit to figure exactly how i was going to attach the wood to the plastic and make everything else fit/drop in like they did before, but if you take your time, you can do some pretty fine cuts with a table saw and a sharp chisel.
