I recently bought an SKS from CT in order to put it in an ATI Strike Force stock, since I like how it looks, and I like black.
However when I went to install it, I couldn't get anything to sit right. I did the obvious thing and asked my father for help, but even with his aid, we couldn't figure anything out.
We followed the instructions and also tried a few different things, but everything seems to be a bit out of place for some reason.
- The Barrel/reciever does not go fully into the back of the stock, as there is about half a centimetre of space left, but it won't go any further, and as such this causes everything else to be out of place, a chain reaction of sorts.
I should've just bought an SKS that was already put into a black ATI Striekforce stock, but it was $50 more. Now I'm starting to think it'd be worth the $50 just so I don't have to deal with this sh#t.
P.S: When I say "$50 more" I mean 50 more than it would've costed for me to buy the stock separately, and install it myself.
