sks bayonet shortening

i have a norinco sks, im purchasing a tapco stock with the bottom rails and want to cut down and keep the bayonet.
anyone around here done this? look awesome or stupid?
or possibly id get my hands on a russian blade and cut it down..

The norinco bayo is flat where it folds against the stock.
It fits fine on my ATI monte carlo, not sure about the tapco stock.
Why do you need a rail AND a bayo?

In my mind it seems like it would look strange with a stubby bayonet! An your sks may suffer from bayonet envy afterwards!

my bayo may be small but my wife doesnt seem to mind.

ill just go head and cut it down, if it looks stupid ill take it off.

Cuz we are only allowed five rounds I need the extra advantage of stabbing the deer if he still gets up.

get rid of the bajo...you might cut your fingers when using the SKS as a club.

Bayo's are for poking holes in stuff, not cutting stuff...you know that right? Big difference between a bayo and a knife right?
