By all accounts, you will destroy the front sight block when you try to remove it. They are pressed on and very tight. For those of you who have removed the front sight post, gas block, stock ring, and rear sight assy...Are these items just pinned in place or are they brazed/soldered in as well ?..
Cheers...R...

Did you remove the front sight base with a hammer and drift?Did you have any problems removing all the retaining pins?Well..putting the parts back in place was fairly easy...slow and steady, bit of lube..
This was actually a reverse install of a stripped action...no issues putting the parts back on....Did you remove the front sight base with a hammer and drift?Did you have any problems removing all the retaining pins?![]()
