Hey guys,
I just saw the ad from Frontier for the sks Bullpup for sale- and it was removed right afterwards. Done some research- are the kits illegal here?

Any thoughts?

Bullpups are only legal if the configuration of the gun requires it to be bullpup to function. The SKS doesn't really "need" to be bullpup, so the idiots who wrote the FA made it like this.

Just some clarification here on this particular add (I had not read the add until an hour ago). This add had originally been posted earlier in the evening and I can take full responsibility for the mistake. The add was suppose to contain a Norinco SKS in the bull pup stock that also came with the original wood stock & Parts along with a dark earth Taco stock.

The only problem was that I was in such a hurry to leave work that the write up I gave to our computer guy did not indicate that there were extra stocks included, and that they would be needed because the Bull pup stock was not functional (no internal components, trigger bar groves filled in and a fixed trigger was the only way it was allowed into Canada).

To my surprise when I got home I had a few emails about this and realized that an important part was left out. Just to avoid any confusion we are going to sell the rifle with out the deactivated bull pup stock. While there is no possible way to reactivate the stock we have with the rifle, after this, I think we will play it safe. If I can get 100% assurance from the RCMP that these stocks will fall under the same cadegory as dewat rifles, we may soon be posting these on EE. Sorry for any confusion.

We can rest safely tonight knowing that our streets are safe with such dangerous weapons outlawed or deactivated (sarcasim).

Yes...no way whatsoever they could be reactivated...we must keep the kittens and babies and baby kittens safe.

By the way, did you guys know there are drum mags out there for these things? Man, I hate our goofy rules. There is so much candy out there for the SKS and we are allowed to have so little of it.

A drum mag would be interesting, im nor sure how you would fire it (I think you might have to position your arm at a weird angle with the big round mag 4 inches from your shoulder). I guess we will see when the Tavors come in, if they will take a AR15 drum.

Some people want dummy gernades some deactivated rifles, some like irish body armour. We sell what sells. Lots of the items in the store I look at and wonder why anyone would want to buy it, and Im sure if customers looked at my collection, they would wonder the same.

illegal - yes

Why? - the law was written by an a$$ and by default is an...

if not we would all own one similar to this sks bullpop

Looking at that picture makes me barf, and then i think that our crappy laws make sense because they prevent such an abomination, then I barf again.
