SKS carbine type stock

Well Im surprised that the stock caused as much interest as it did. SKS rifles are great in that they get people into responsible firearms type activities, in the real world of fast rifles I agree that the SKS is somewhat of an "Acadian" or maybe a "Lada"

The stocks that are available should serve those on a budget. save the money and foregoe fancy rails, vertical foregrips, laser dots and buy more ammo!!! SKS rifles are rugged, simple and functional... As I was told a kid recently showed up with an SKS at a Tactical match in BC and outshot most of the gucci tactical black (and green) guns Go figure.

Well, I guess I can hang my head down in shame since I have owned an Acadian, a Lada Niva and I am an SKS owner.

My plan in case of invasion :

1- grab my cheap a$$ SKS
2-kill the ennemy with the coolest gun
3-take his gun
4-shoot his friends with it

I've heard of guys using SKS rifles to outshoot the ARs at IPSC three-gun matches. I guess it's true what they say, "It's not the equipment, it's the guy operating it."
