I recently got an SKS. It shoots well, but it consistently misfeeds the last round in the magazine. It looks like the round is misaligned or something, the bolt tries to shove it in underneath the chamber. Does anyone have any suggestions on what this problem could be? The spring in the arm that pushes the rounds up might be weak or something?

before you do anything else, first clean the mag thoroughtly , next , check to see if the follower arm is bent , if so just straighten it out .

I cleaned off all of the thick grease that came with it. The follower arm does not seem bent, but there does seem to be quite a bit of lateral 'slop' to it. Is it supposed to be like that?
