SKS-D on a EBR CHOPMOD possible?

I had an SKS once but was never satisfied with any sighting arrangement so let it go to work on a SL8/G36K conversion. Recently however I was mulling over what I could source for a 7.62x39 plinker and got to thinking, and I realize its lipstick on a pig, but I got to visualizing what an EBR CHOPMOD stock would be like adapted to an SKS-D. Not saying its possible, practical or fiscally responsible... just thinking...

I dont think the SKS would fit on the chassis even with extensive modifications... I believe Tapco makes a chassis type stock for the SKS and that would be a much better option for far less money.

I was thinking along these lines. Once you rip the guts out of it what left is a full metal chassis for about $200. A little(ie a lot) of cut'n'paste and with a $200-300 SKS-D. Mod a 5/20 M14 mag to accept 7.62x39 and I think you'd have a fine coyote rifle running cheap as borch in the 4-5 hundred range that would accept optics... which may or may not make a difference on an SKS.

I think something like this(see link) would make a fine donor to such a worthy cause.

Uh why not just add a scope to a normal SKS?
Or buy any other sub $300 rifle and add a scope too it?
Or buy one of those cheap Stevens bolt action rifles for ~$300

Unless your coyotes shoot back, that seems like a lot of pointless work for a coyote rifle.
And with that, I think you should still try it.

Main problem is the length from front of magazine to rear of the SKS action is longer the the M14 IIRC. Maybe this would work better with a mini14 EBR stock?
