Yeah.... that does look better. That would probably be a hard part to find. Looks more streamline. Congrats on a fine rifle.

Its just a plain ole SKS-d, Ive seen the Albanian bolts for years and always wanted an actual Albanian SKS, I guess this is as close as ill ever get to own an Albanian.

I like it more and more every time I see it, might have to copy you. I'm having problems with ammo not firing and am planning on changing out some parts. Maybe I will have to accidentally get a new carrier...

i think most of us who owns a "D" would love to have a AK cocking handle to go with the AK mag .

so when norseman offered me is his beloved alby carrier , i bot it . thanks norseman.

i knew albanian workmanship isnt the best so it was no big surprise it had big gouge, file marks and uneven surface, particular around the handle . i spent an hour filing and wheel brushing to get it to look this nice .

heres a US dude (collector48) converted a yugo carrier to an alby , he spent alot of time , aint bad looking but not the kind of look i would be happy with so i dont mind buying one.
