Hi guys,

I've decided to give the red world a try, got my Mosin ordered, got my SKS ordered, got my ammo ordered (all online).

If I wanted to go in-store to pick up another SKS, are there any dealers in Eastern Ontario with a good selection that one can poke through for cherry-picking purposes?

Canadian Tire on Gardiner's Road in Kingston has them for $199. Nice refurbs - I picked one up a few months ago there. Not sure how keen they would be to bring zillions of them out for rummaging, but the ones I've seen have been decent.

Also saw a few at CT in Belleville - they also have some used stuff - saw a JR carbine in there last week.

Thanks guys, I'll check them out out. The CTs must be hit and miss, I've been through 3 in Ottawa, none at all. Lebarons keeps them in the back, not sure sales guy will want to bring out more than a couple. I'm in Pembroke later this month and down in Kingston in Sept, I'll head down the road a bit and check out One Shot.

Crappy Tire in Kemptville, Smiths Falls, Perth.
Forget about them in Ottawa for anything firearms related except for small quantities of ammo.
You can also call Jason at Gunco and see if he has anything on the rack for sale.

Yes Canadian Tire in Smiths Falls has them. I just picked one up a week ago and they had a bunch!
