SKS Delux Walnut Stock

Anybody know where to get just the stock?

I'm no SKS guy, but I seen one of these at my local Canadian Ma-Facker the other day and it made me want one. But I only need the stock, I don't want to have to buy the rifle too.

I understand where you are coming from, I don't like plastic but I love the idea of putting one of my SKS in a really nice wood stock.
Who is selling these in a store in BC where I can handle one before buying?

i have seen one guy at the range with one of those, the wood on the gas tube was on loose and wiggly, gun shot ok though...

That's pretty sweet, but not quite what I'm looking for. The stock I'm after is brown and has checkering.

Hmmm how come I have never seen these? Can we confirm they are Tapco?

I don't think the stock is Tapco/Timbersmith as
I have never seen one in the U.S.. The only ones I've
seen are in Canada.

I'm in the same boat for this stock .. and I've come up short in looking. Seems I may have to chose something different or sell off an sks or two and buy one outright.

Well, after much searching, I've come to the conclusion that you can't get this stock seperatly. Today I bit the bullet and just went and picked one up.










All in all, I'm very happy. Not sure how it shoots yet as I've only had it for an hr. But this is one of the best condition sks's I've handled. I can only assume that the rifles were specially picked for these stocks.
I'm mostly impressed by the trigger. There is almost no creep what so ever, and its very light for an sks. I'll be taking the trigger group apart soon as I get a chance. I'd like to look at the sear to see if its had a trigger job done.
Anyway, I can't wait to shoot it!

That is beautiful! I would like to think of myself as a purist, but that there makes me want one of those.
