Hi fellow SKS owners.
I apologize beforehand if these questions have already been answered in previous postings.
Shooting my Chinese SKS in the cold recently the detach mag broke (chucks of plastic came off the feedlips and duckbill). I believe the 5 round mag ( bought 2nd hand) is Zytel /polymer. Is this problem common with all polymer mags? Before I spend the ridiculous amount everyone charges for plastic Tapco mags, are they good/ more durable? Are there any detach mags made of metal out there??
