SKS diff calibers

I thought i came across once a Canadian outfit once that was offering sks's in diff calibers a few years back ,not sure if i was mistaken or they exist , did i go over the edge of the internet or are they real ?

Wanstalls did some .223 conversions (and I believe 9mm as well if I remember correctly).
They only did it on a custom basis though and they were/are quite expensive.

the factory did make commercial 556 but i dont know if any came to canada.
