Hi,
I just picked up my first SKS, a Tula 1951 refurb, all numbers matching, including the stock (no ###x's) and in my opinion, in great shape.
The finish on mine appears to be almost matt greyish, very much like parkarizing, on the top cover, receiver, barrel, mag, trigger group. Leaf sight looks blued. Bolt is not painted.
My question is, is this normal, or has it been refinished during its refurb? Were they all originally blued?
Pics up!
