I just bought a Russian SKS and it groups to the right. I have tried adjusting the front sight but I'm out of adjustment and it is still hitting 2" right at 50 yards. Anybody have an easy fix? I don't plan on putting a scope on this rifle.

Do you have a front sight tool? You may have to file the edges on an angle to get the holes to line up properly once there is pressure applied when turning the handle.

Buy a front sight tool from hical.ca
Or, just give sight a tap to the right. The front sight rides on a pin that runs through the post.

The tool is the best bet, when adjusting with a tap and hammer I kept hitting too far. It also has the tool for elevation.

I have a front sight tool and the front post is pushed to the max. I was moving the sight towards the point of impact. When I started the rifle was hitting 8"-10" right now I'm down to 2"

On my SKS I had the front sight adjusted to the left. Being a bit of a perfectionist, it bugged me that it wasn't centered. A rear Tech Sight solved that for me. I centered the front sight, then adjusted the rear so it would shoot straight.
