SKS FTF on last round, every time.

Are you loading the rifle from the top pushing the rounds down into the mag or are you loading them from the bottom of the mag?
I find that for reasons unknown if you load the gun from the bottom of the mag the last round jams every time

The stock magazine follower after being used pinned can bend and become weaker after time and needs to be tweaked (rebent upwards) to reapply additional tension that it has lost on the last round. Also have had to polish the feed ramp into the chamber on a few and seemed to be more of an issue with soft points. —Dieseldog!

It's the follower pivot point. The pin holding the rod does not pivot freely enough. Dumb pinning method for reliability on some SKS's.

That is a crappy way to 'pin' the magazine. Mine has a small post spot welded to the bottom of the mag preventing the follower from traveling below the 5 round level. That way there is no interference with the working of the follower etc.
