SKS gass tube question

Hey guys I just wanted to know where you can get a few of the pins that you take out when seperating wood hand guard from the gass tube on an SKS. I got one other pin with my tapco stock and used it. But im going to buy another gass tube for my wood hand guard so i can use my nice wood stock some times too.

Pins

A mild steel pin is all that is required. There are no severe stresses placed on the pin, so you can do as I did and use a finishing nail of the appropriate diameter and peen the ends.

Ya,that would work pretty well as a replacement. For some reason the originals are very rare. The plastic stock makers might have them available too.

I've even used a section from a clothes hanger, although I'm sure it's not recomended from the factory, but whatever gets the job done....
