SKS has to be the best deal going.

It took me a while to warm up to the SKS, partially because I can't shoot 7.62x39 at my indoor range. However, the value and the cost of ammo is what eventually won me over, it's great for Crown Land or outdoor ranges.

Yea I WILL BE GETTING a 2nd or 3rd one... I have my first one that I tapco'd out and god mags for... I think I would like an original one to shoot also tho and one to keep for parts.

I love the SKS and it is by far my favorite Rifle actually it is the only Centerfire Rifle that I own, I remember my first thought was "must have" when I had first seen one sometime around 2003-4 even though at that time I thought it was some type of AK.....lol.

What's the current view of the best supply available .. i.e new or lighty used refurbished nice condition most accurate.? See lots of back and forth between Chinese & Russian..

I guess this changes often.. Views

Only real difference I've noticed between my Russia sks and my Chinese sks is when taking them apart. Sometimes I gotta grab plyers for the chinese one its so stiff, lol. Finish is a bit nicer on the Russian. I enjoy them both.
