SKS in 5.56?

What can you guys tell me about these? I have a couple of 7.62 x 39 ones but a buddy called me up asking if he shoudl buy one that is apparently in 5.56

The net refers to them but not sure price point and if the 5.56 is better/worse or there are any issues etc.

Thanks...had searched but couldn't finad that thread.

The thread doesn't explain how many of these came in. Also, I am not sure whether these were actually a milsurp or were a separate civy market run.

Any one have an idea as to price? I ASSUME it is in good operating order . The seller apparently wants $300 and is including about 1000 rounds.

I told him to buy now and regret later of course!
