Planning on giving an SKS some plastic surgery. Which way to go?

Dragonuv with quick rail and scope?

Tapco with front pistol grip with the bipod in front grip with scope on rear sight

ATI with scope on rear sight

Archangel with no scope

Original wood stock with metal vented handguard and rear sight scope.

Leaving it stock is not an option.

With the above options which scope is best suited on the rear sight?

If you go with Dragunov style, be sure to go with Choate Dragunov stock, they are way better then ATI ones..

My original plan was to get a m305 shorty$429 and put it in a blackfeather stock$599 and add a few others things like a scope and m4 butt stock but that would run my about $1500. So now I will go the red rifle route and go SKS full retard. I have a mosin with a scope and a svt-40. I have a Russian SKS 1954 so now a stock. How well does the choate dragunov stock bed a SKS? I found one at mystic precision for $110. I was thinking kwik rail and a scope that is easy to see thoroughly out to 150 to 200 m.

I just got a Choate Drag stock for my 54' Russian, fits in real tight. I used the Kiwk Rail as well, had to dremel the stock to get the rail to fit, but looks really nice. Looks forward to shooting it!
used a Russian 3 post scope to complete it!

That sounds just like what I am going to do. Do you have a pic.

Sure, Here it is so far. Don't mind the upper hand guard... Brownells forgot to ship the upper hand guard so they are shipping it now (Apparently) so it's the original one with black tape for effect :)

I like that. I am going to do the same but add a vented hand guard. That really is nice and the look I'm going for. Sure beats spending $1500 on a crappy m305 that still won't shoot right.
