SKS Insane prices

My 1950r all matching/laminate stock does not have the weld spot on the bottom of the magazine even though it's pinned to five - looks like a pillar on the inside bottom of the magazine. It was worth the $600 I paid for it - this coming from people that live by the SKS who's owned junky ones and collector grade models. At the same time could have bought BBQ non-matching version for about $300 before tax. Yes the value is going up for the good ones and I didn't want to throw funds at a lesser grade version only the best I can afford is what I buy.

These prices are the new normal, so get used to it. The Bank of Canada is working hard to de-value our currency and the federal government is legislating scarcity.

my post was mostly made in jest as I do not have any rifles for sale and at this point all I foresee in the future is buying while we are still able.

Wow. Dunno if you guys buy guns on ####### or townpost, but some douche canoes have listed their Chinese sks' for $800 firm, and another guy is wanting $1100 for a chinese sks with a crate of ammo. Just plain, basic run of the mill chinese sks rifles. No mods even.
