sks jams last round

I tryed out my new tapco bolt assembly, first it would not accept rounds into the bolt, after making the stricking surface on the bolt wider, I have had no issues, no stovepiping. Im also using tapco mags, i will keep using my fixed mag and the tapcos to see if it will stovepipe but as of now im thinking the new bolt was the fix for jaming the last round. Its nice to have a perfectly working gun now.

Good to know. I was thinking about getting a Tapco T6 stock for mine but I guess I will do some more pondering on that. Good on you for figuring out the fix though.

My tapco bolt worked for about 400 rounds and broke, dont buy one. I took my old bolt in and got it mechined to match the tapco style. Now at 2500 rounds only one stovepipe. I got the lower edges that run in the mag cut off to the bottom of the bolt is square.

Tried my buddys mag, hes never had a issue and when i put it in my gun it jams ha, same ammo, same frequency of jams, same random jamming. One thing i noticed is the pin for my trigger assembly that holds the mag in moves to one side from firing, i can just tap it back into postion when i remove the trigger, tried super gluing the pin in place, didnt work. Is this pin supposed to float? Could it be applying uneven pressure to the mag?
Has nothing to do with your mag but has everything to do with your trigger assembely or locking bar lock up with the trigger assembely. Contact Paul at sksman dot com and get a replacment part. I will try to walk you threw it.
