sks loose stock

I got my new sks yesterday, I carefully cleaned all the parts. However, today, I reassembled the gun and discovered that the stock is loose, there's about 4mm of free play between the upper hand guard and the stock. I'm sure that the magasine box is assembled promptly. What should I do? Thanks in adavance.

The Upper hand guard (part over gas tube) is not supposed to be tight.
It's a hand guard.

Don't worry, all is OK, go have fun with your new rifle.

the problem is solved, I placed a thick piece of carton between the metal pin in the stock and the receiver and the stock fits tight now. thanks anyway
