Sks Mag Adapter BHO question....

I have done all the mods with the exception of the BHO tab. I test cycled it and everything works as it should including the last round bolt hold open. I know every gun is different and requires fine tuning per adapter but is filing down the BHO always necessary? or did I get lucky and i have a rifle which just doesn't need any mods to the BHO to function properly?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am quite surprised to hear your rifle works without mods to the BHO.

When you get around to trying live fire I would check frequently and carefully to make sure all continues to be well.

Thanks for the reply. In what way does the bho interfere with the mag/action? I was trying to figure out what exactly the filing would accomplish operational-wise but I don't quite get it yet.

In the case of the rifles that we installed mag adaptors on, the BHO interfered with the insertion of the magazine. Altering the BHO dealt with the issue.
