I purchased a Norinco SKS last year and the last three times target shooting it will not feed up the last round. Also after emptying a mag it will not stay open. I only have about four or five boxes of ammo shot out of it. Any help appreciated.

Sometimes the lips of the mag get bent a little from dismantling the gun.Check the magazine against one that works.Sometimes a little careful bending can right it.The mag pinning job could be causing you trouble too.The follower causes the bolt to stay open.Is it one of the recent Tula Frankenpinned models?
Thanks for the quick reply's guy's. The rifle used to stay open after the last round went down range. But now it will close and the last round will not feed. I brought it brand new so there were no modificationsThe magazine is not detachable.
