SKS magazine frankenpin fell out, what do I do now?

Agreed, If you have an unpinned mag you're automatically Al-Qaeda. I'll call Hon. Chuck Angus and find out for sure, but probably that's the case.

Moreguns is selling fixed 5/10 round SKS mags for 14.99... I think they are off the recent import of Chinese rifles. Would be a cheap fix, or else one can drill a small hole in the base of the frankenplug and then rivet it back into the magazine shell using a steel rivet. That would be legal and relatively cheap to do.

cut, weld and grind it into a 5 round mag that fits flush with the stock.

A 5/16x 1-1/4 bolt works perfect. Double nut it in and your set to go............
