Not sure what else to call them, or where to find them.

There have been several types of rivets used. I'm trying to find a style that on the outside is the least intrusive looking. The Chinese sks has a rivet that looks like the factory rivet near the front of the sks mag and has a T shape limiter that stops the followers swing arm. I'd like to find some but have found anything similar in a general tool shop.

Any ideas?

The neatest alterations I have ever seen were done on a batch of Chinese rifles.
That rivet at the front of the magazine that you refer to is the guide for the magazine spring. If it is replaced by a longer rivet, the movement of the magazine follower is limited.
A new rivet of the correct length, installed using a tool to form the head in the original manner, results in a blocked magazine that is not apparent unless an attempt is made to load more than 5 rounds.
