sks malfunction

my sks will only fire the first 2 or 3 rounds then the left over rounds fail to fire. Reload and have the same problem. There is still a strike mark on the primer of the failed rounds . Maybe the firing pin is not hitting hard enough. I have ruled out the ammo as the problem my cz shoots well with the same stuff loaded in it.

Have you cleaned the firing pin and firing pin channel in the bolt? They both should be clean and dry with no oil.

Every time you chamber a round in the SKS it will leave a small mark on the primer.
