What did you strip with. I've got one the same and yours looks pretty sharp. Give us the step by step.

i know ...i should have taken more pics but ...oh well, first i took it all apart then ,i used the spray on type of striper from crapy tire it worked good AND IT RINSES WITH WATER!!! that 1894 furnture striper is stonger if you have a tough spot but its messy cause you gotta use thinners to get everything off, i used a little brass wire brush i got in the paint section (three pack 1 stainless 1 brass and 1 plastic for about 4$)after getting of the all paint off (it took quite a while it wasnt hard just time consuming)i clean it all with brake clean and compressed air then wiped it down with alchol and started bluing with birtchwood casey perma blue(read directions) ,9 coats lighty buffing with super fine steel wool between each coat after the 3rd . i did the reciever and parts one night then the barrel the next , it made it easyer to handle it without finger prints once your happy with the color buff it a little and use lots of oil it'll really soak it up ,leave it over night to cure :D and your done
