SKS Officially Declared A Hunting Rifle

I recently sold mine for $650 cash, it was listed on here, had a few offers then talking to a guy at the range and he paid cash-asking price and was a very happy camper. I even told him I paid around $150 for it about 10 years ago-never fired it. He had done the same thing but sold all of his SKSs and regretted it. The market is a fickle place, look what an all original SMLE goes for these days, sporterize it and it's worth one fifth of that.
 
I remember seeing new Norinco SKS's selling for $99.99 back in the mid 90's at OSG. Russian Tula arsenel SKS's were selling for about the same in VG condition. You could buy 1200 round crates of steelcore Norinco 7.62x39 ammo for $119.99 If I only knew then what all that would be selling for now!

I was going to say this. 12" gong at 300 yards. One of two of them. The other is trash. Everyone loves an accurate boom stick.
