Two new comments on my Bushnell TRS-25- I have used blue locktite on the allen screw of the TRS-25 base as it shot loose after about 30 rounds, I had tightened it according to the instructions but I highly advise using blue locktite to eliminate the issue. Secondly- I get a large amount of internal red flaring (in the left hand internal side of the red dot) when I have sun behind me, this is a bit annoying and I am looking at how I can attach some sort of hood on the ocular lens side of the red dot to stop the glare. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on what material and how to attach the material on the rear of the scope. I might try and tape something on.....hmmm. I wonder whether this happens with higher value red dots like Aimpoints?
These two issues are relatively minor and the light weight and small/easily visible TRS-25 red dot is excellent. So far only paper shot, but it is only a matter of time before I get to "blood" this new rig.
