It is a cheaply produced gun and it's been dumped on us to use for what? $200,- with a crate of ammo at the most while sellers try to inflate pricing because they don't move much anymore. Trying to rename the thing "Super Grade, Blued, Unissued...bla, bla... What a joke!

They was cheap produced because soviet worker was paid with 50$ per month . Today you pay for a "cheap produced" non surplus SKS T81 1000$.

Cheaply produced are CZ858 and VZ58 and look at the prices.

I'm kind of fond of these rifles now. They are the only real wood ones I have. So probably gonna keep em. Sorry for trouble.

If they are Russians, blued and s/n all matching, don't rush.

Last two very nice Russians I just sold for 300.oo and they sold fast, no paint on them, blued.

My 1949 Tula SKS is worth at least $600. In the States it would sell for 2000 USD.
