How do I get my sks to shoot more accurately, will better ammunition make better groups? The best I can do is about 5 to 6 inches at 100 yards.
My sks is Russian (I think)

What are you using for optics if any.
If you are just using open sights than 4 to 6 inches is about right.

Assuming your breathing and trigger technique are good, try sandbagging the SKS under the forestock and the butt.

Improving the trigger works too. Do a search in this red rifle sub forum for SKS trigger jobs.

I really need to do some testing to see what kinda groups my sks gets but i was on the Tradex website and i noticed they sell the SKS on that sight with a Sight adjuster tool!

How many people have these and have you had to use it?
I will have to do some testing to see if i need to order one!

Get the tool and adjust the sights to the ammo you are using. They aren't match guns, but you can make them shoot reasonable.

Try extending the bayonet, it'll harmonize the vibration as some say, it's either extended or off, to get the best grouping.
