I understand these arentthe greatest solution, BUT I was thinking of getting one and popping a red dot on it for <50 yard plinking. I know it probably will not hold a perfect true zero, but when have you ever seen a SKS that could hit one bullet on topof another on a consistant basis?

I tried mounting my red dot on the gas tube rail [Tapco T6 Intrafuse] and it was just plain stupid... too far away from the eye and the dot was jumping all over the place.

I am thinking that closer to the eye would solve the jumping bean of a reddot isue.

Get a recoil buffer too then. Marstar has them, like 6 $ or something. Should help hold your scope truer as the bolt doesn't slam back into the reciever as hard.
