Sks Refurb signs question?

I am assuming that if your serial #'s are painted white.. this is a sign of refurbishment.

Nope. Just means somebody highlighted them. Read the sticky for refurb indicators.

Odd... I could not find anything saying that somebody decided to highlight it... only that they painted over eletro-pencil on some of the refurbs... I am getting old.

Highlighted, meaning using a crayon or chaulk to fill in the numbers. The bright numbers will stand out and/or be able to be photographed easier.

Not that I am an expert, but I've handled many hundreds of SKS's. I can spot a refurb a mile away. If you post photos of various angles, myself, or others, will chime in and let you know.
