I have a threaded barrel Chinese SKS-M/D with a corroded chrome lined barrel. I was considering trying to thread on a Russian barrel. I read that a Yugo threaded barrel will end up with the Gas block upside down. I have not found any info on the russian barrels. They look the same but have not tried to remove them. I also think some machining of the barrel end is required due to the AK mag front tab cut out. Thought I would see if anyone has tried this.

They had quite a few when I looked at their site the other day. I seem to remember seeing barrels for sale at a reasonable price. Almost seemed as if they stripped down a few crates of rifles to bare parts to fill the desire.
Not all SKS barrels will work on one another. Different thread pitches from different country's and some models have pinned barrels well others have threaded. Just like some receivers are milled while others are stamped.
