I never had time yet to go into the trigger unit to fiddle with them. But i stumbled accross this thread

http://www.sksboards.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2830

incase you have no time to read, it is about the hammer creeping up. My main concern is withoug having to do modification to my sks should i worry about the hammer creeping up and finnaly let go, even when the safety is on.. while i am hunting or at the range...?

I have owned and shot SKS rifles for 8 or 9 years now and have never heard of this or encountered this problem. I don't think I would worry about it.

I concur. Any SKS I've encountered with a trigger mech problem had already been "worked on" by someone trying to to improve the pull.
