Don't worry about $20 here/there let's hope you get a nice solid gun from them. Of it's your first next SKS buy in person with inspection or go with someone that knows SKS's (that isn't a blow hard).
One of my favorite rifles, One of them seem to climb into my car every time I go to the range.
 
When I was at Cabelas, they had some weird frankenbiners, so so refurb condition. I decided to pay a few $$$ more and got a great 1954 Tula from Westrifle: all matching numbers, no refurb marks, still in cosmo. Judging from the bolt carrier face and the hammer, it seems to have had very low round count. The stock was a bit banged up and bluing worn - perhaps guard duty somewhere. Prints 3 MOA groups all day long with surplus ammo.
 
Canadian Tire has banned the sale of all SKS firearms of any description (effective a few days ago).

The stores were told to remove all stock from the floor, secure it and not sell anymore product.

It is all being bought back by one of the two wholesalers that provided the product to the individual stores - packages were just sent out to any stores that had any SKS in stock with instructions as to how to rid themselves of the "evil product".

Very good price, especially if you are close enough to go in and look at a few! Yep must have taken CTC 'S returns!
 
I young guy I know bought a crappy BBQ paint model with a rear sight that was just about rusted off as he just had to have one and didn't make an informed choice.Cabela's Calgary.
 
Picked up a beautiful 1950 all matching refurb SKS from the Barrie Cabelas....considering going back for another. Word is they got in over 200 units about a week or so ago, could be CT old stock?
 
I picked up one for 199 as well. Awesome price even if it's just a shooter grade. I can't believe how much these guns have #### up in price in recent years. Grab em' while you can people. I had an itch for an svt40 last week and found they've dried up.
 
Well, I have to hand it to Westrifle too, nice sks from $250. And up, free shipping and something most others do not offer any more, a sling and two ammo pouches!! Plus I would assume cleaning kit and oil bottle, and you get to pick from their inventory with pictures!
