SKS scope and mount value?

I posted this over in the milsurp forum but thought about it and I think it would be better to ask it here.

I have a mount and scope for an SKS that I came by in a trade years ago. Its just been sitting in my gunroom ever since. I'd like the put it on the EE, but have no idea of its value.

I have no idea what brand the mount is, but the scope is a "Eurolux".

What you can realistically get for it, and what it is worth are almost worlds apart...

Very cheap scope and the typical horrible receiver cover SKS mount combo.

Almost everyone who's bought an SKS has bought a combo like this at one point... And almost everyone has flogged it off for next to nothing, or thrown it away....

In my opinion, $20-$50 on the EE, or best to maybe just to try the scope on a .22 or an air rifle and dump the cover mount in the trash...

Well that answers that question.

I don't think I'll bother with the EE on this one. I know a guy who goes to a lot of gun shows. Maybe I'll see if he'll trade me for a couple of boxes of .22 magnum shells or something.

I'm sure it will be worth more to him than me...
